Good Practical Lesson

We finished up our discussion of mp3's today. I think many of the students had fun with the activity and all came away with a better understanding of how music compression works. I did this lesson as a part of sound. Although it didn't really have much to do with sound I still think it was a good lesson as it helped get the students interested.

As someone pointed out to me recently. Not everything we teach should be 300 years old. We integrate technology into our lessons and we need to take time to explain how it works sometimes as well.
